Objectives of the Programme
Nowadays many people are looking for different types of energy sources not only
because non- renewable fuels pose threat to the environment, but also everyone
knows that the world will face one of the worst crisis, the energy shortage in
the near future.
However, for India to reach it's potential and to boost the necessary
investment in renewable energy it will be essential to introduce comprehensive
and long term support. The Micro Grids Using Hybrid Renewable Energy Sources is
one among the solution for today's electricity demand in India. By this
proposed technology individuals can generate their own power and cut their
energy bills while helping to protect the environment.
This
hybrid energy system can be connected to the electricity distribution systems;
these are called grid connected systems. In remote locations this systems can
be more cost-effective than extending a power line from the electricity grid.
In this context, this seminar will help the participants to understand the basic
concepts, involved electricity generation from hybrid renewable energy sources,
their synchronization with the micro grid, and challenges in micro grids.

research in micro grids related field.
Boarding and Lodging
Boarding and lodging will
be provided to the selected candidates in the college campus. Accommodation
will be provided in the college hostel to the participants only.
