About Event:

The purpose of the workshop is to emphasis the emerging trends adapted in industries for a new product design. Geometrical Dimensioning and Tolerances which are considered as the key factors in designing will be discussed in detail. To foster fruitful exchange the workshop will provide ample opportunities for the researcher, faculty members and students, and to generate networking and collaboration between academic and industry players interest in the product design. Participants may thus find the seminar to be useful for enhancing their knowledge and research ideas in New Product Design Process.

•          Representation of geometric tolerances in drawings
•          Straightness of surface and axis
•          Profile of a line and profile of a surfaces
•          Tolerance stack-up in part and assembly
•          Statistical tolerance analysis
•          Sheet metal and casting design & tolerances
