About Event:
In-order to implement its mission of healthcare for all, an
amalgamation of stakeholders from the medical and engineering field is
imperative. Therefore, NHHID has embarked on an initiative to bring doctors and
engineers together at this symposium titled “Healthcare in India (Clinical
& Technological) – Who and What holds the future?” This symposium would be
platform where a doctor of repute and an engineer with a rich experience in
medical instrumentation would come together to discuss the future directions of
the Medicine-Engineering Continuum in the domains of Vascular Surgery,
Respiratory Medicine, Neonatology, Calibration and Physiology in each session.
They would communicate to major stakeholders such as Scientists, Engineers,
Doctors, Medical device manufacturers and dealers, the contemporary and best
practices in the field of Biomedical Engineering.
The objective is to bring the major stakeholders such Scientists, Engineers, Doctors, Medical device manufacturers and dealers together to deliberate and decide upon the development of indigenous healthcare instruments, which will not only enhance our country's instrumentation capability but also address the needs of healthcare providers.
In five sessions of one hour each, five medical experts & five technical experts will pair and address invited professionals on chosen domains of medical instrumentation and development.
The objective is to bring the major stakeholders such Scientists, Engineers, Doctors, Medical device manufacturers and dealers together to deliberate and decide upon the development of indigenous healthcare instruments, which will not only enhance our country's instrumentation capability but also address the needs of healthcare providers.
