About Event:
Biomedical
Instrumentation is an interdisciplinary subject plays an important role in the
product development and their commercial applications and maintenance in the
healthcare sector. This subject aims to build a bridge between engineering and
medicine and contribute in the healthcare treatment including diagnosis,
monitoring, treatment and therapy. Prominent Biomedical Engineering fields
include development of various diagnostic and therapeutic medical devices
ranging from clinical equipment to micro implants, imaging equipments such as
MRIs, ECGs, EMGs, EEGs and pharmaceutical drugs. It is a comparatively new
field in the engineering branches.
The primary objective of this Faculty Development Training Programme (FDTP) is to provide opportunity for the Young faculty members from AICTE approved Engineering Colleges affiliated to Anna University, Chennai to enrich their knowledge in the subject “BM6504 Biomedical Instrumentation” such that they teach the fundamentals of the course to the students more confidently.

candidates free of cost subjected to availability

Registration for the FDTP can be done using the attached form in
same brochure. The completed form duly signed by Head of the Institution should
be sent by post to the Coordinator or the scanned copy of the same can be
mailed.
