OBJECTIVES OF THE WORKSHOP
• To explore the application of SMAC-i technologies to the prevention of Epidemic Diseases.
• To understand how the data can acquire using IoT in Public Surveillance
• To have hands-on experience on Hadoop tools, R language, rapid minder, MongoDB for storing and analyzing the data.
• To create an exposure on cloud computing and virtualization, hands –on experience on Cloud computing tools such as Opennebula, Eucalyptus and Openstack.
• To emphasize the effect of social and mobile technologies in public surveillance system to prevent the epidemics.
