About Event:
In today’s information era, search engines play a vital role in
web user’s regular activities. Rather than using traditional searching methods,
it is now mandatory to employ artificial intelligence in search engines to
optimally and effectively retrieve the required information. Thus innovations
are emerging in the area of machine learning and soft computing. In near
future, soft computing methods will rule information retrieval process and
search engine optimizations. This has motivated the workshop on “Soft Computing
Techniques in Information Retrieval”. The Workshop will bring together both
academic and industry experts to provide an awareness on innovations and future
trends in Soft Computing techniques and information retrieval. The objectives
of this workshop are to
• Create awareness on the recent trends in Soft Computing Techniques.
• Provide key insights about current research directions in data analytics and information retrieval.
• Provide hands-on tutorial sessions on the open source tools in IR.
