About Event:
The research on food and nutrition is an endless phenomenon,
with a systematic compilation of data's about foods and their nutritional
components. A great number of research
activities in the field of health
related dietary aspects have demonstrated a significant link between the
regular intake of phytochemicals (e.g. polyphenols, carotenoids, phytosterols),
and the prevention of life-style related
diseases, such as cancer, obesity, diabetes and cardiovascular complications.
Such issues should be looked into from multi-disciplinary point of view. To
keep in mind this conference was planned.
