About Event:
Marine bioprospecting – the search for novel compounds from
natural sources in the marine environment has increased rapidly in recent
years. Much of the increase in activity may be attributed to technological
advances in exploring the ocean and the genetic diversity it contains. Much of
the marine biome remains under-investigated and the prospect for new and unique
findings is high, particularly in the microbial realm. The Apex Biotechnology
Training and Research Institute invite you to this workshop on “MARINE
BIOPROSPECTING – MARINE MICROBIAL PERSPECTIVES” between 26th and 31st October
2015 to be held at Apex Biotechnology Training and Research Institute, Chennai
where researchers will be able to understand the basic instrumentation and
steps involved in Marine Bioprospecting from Microbial Source.
