About Event:

The STTP aims to bring together the communities who are working in the areas of MEMS, Virtual Instruments and its applications in Biomedical and Controls.

  • This program focuses on exploiting its broad expertise to address multidisciplinary measurement and signal-analysis problems in chemical, mechanical, electrical, security, and biological systems, and the building of sensor systems for users in academia, industry and healthcare.
  • The rapid adoption of the PC in the last 20 years catalyzed a revolution in instrumentation for test, measurement, validation and automation. One major development resulting from the ubiquity of the PC is the concept of virtual instrumentation, which offers several benefits to engineers and scientists who require increased productivity, accuracy, and performance.
  • Microsystems have become indispensable for many of today’s electronic systems. MEMS have applications ranging from automotive to defense industries, and from biomedical to consumer electronic devices.
  • This course covers basic microfabrication technologies, the governing physics for MEMS devices in different energy domains (mechanical, electrical, optical, thermal, and fluidic). Design of MEMS based Virtual Instrumentation will be covered

Who Can Participate?

The course is open to Faculty members/Research Scholars of Instrumentation, Biomedical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical and Chemical Engineering, who are working in AICTE approved Engineering/Polytechnic Colleges. Engineers from Industries are also eligible to apply. Admission will be offered subject to the availability based on TEQIP guidelines

Accommodation Details:

No TA / DA will be paid to the participants as per TEQIP norms. Working lunch, tea and refreshments will be
provided to all the participants. Accommodation will be provided to the selected outstation participants in the campus upon request, at their own expenses.
