About Event:

The workshop will cover important ideas and algorithms in the field of deep learning and artificial neural networks. The art of expressing the main operation of the Backpropagation algorithm using vector operations for efficient training of deep neural networks will be presented. Practical issues that arise when training deep neural networks and approaches to address these issues will be covered. The workshop will convey the main ideas in deep learning with elementary Linear Algebra and Multivariable Calculus. The workshop will focus on fundamental concepts, design choices and efficient implementation of deep learning algorithms in MATLAB/Python-Numpy.
