Dr.Mahalingam College of Engineering and Technology (MCET), established in the year 1998 is a self-financing, Autonomous Engineering College. We are delighted to inform you that Computer Science and Engineering department of MCET is organizing AICTE sponsored Two weeks FDP on “Machine Learning Techniques in Information Retrieval” between 13th – 26th November 2017 .
The FDP will serve as a knowledge sharing platform, where both academic and industry experts will provide awareness on innovations and future trends in machine learning techniques and information retrieval. Topics include:
• Data classification and clustering methods
• Association rule learning
• Deep Learning
• Genetic algorithms
• Big data analytics in Cloud/Hadoop
• Sentiment analysis and Opinion mining
• Advanced Optimization Techniques
• Performance Evaluation Techniques
• Recommendation Systems
Hands-on sessions on Hadoop, R and MATLAB will also be conducted.
